Our Team

Jody Harm has been a licensed, Medical Aesthetician for twenty-nine years. 

After moving back to Sonoma County from Los Angeles in 2000, Jody began working for Dermatology Associates of Petaluma, and continued there for five years. While designing and building out her own Skin Care Spa in Santa Rosa, she was asked to bring her talents and training to a local Plastic Surgery Center, to work with Dr. David Marcus.

Working on patients seen in dermatology and cosmetic surgery settings, formalized Jody’s calling to address the more complex skin disorders, generally not seen in spa environments. 

The Skin Clinique Inc. was established in 2006.

Jody has garnered training and experience from the most respected leaders and training facilities in the United States, including the International Dermal Institute, where she earned her masters diploma and worked in their concept spa, Leonard Drake, for four years. Jody worked with the well renowned Dr. Howard Murad, shadowing him in his medical practice as well as working in his wellness spa for five years. During her career in Los Angeles, she gained invaluable experience and trust, by treating top entertainers in the film and television industry.

Jody was one of the first students in the United States to receive medical certification in Dermatologic Skin Care and Pre and Post Operative Care training, for Cosmetic Surgery Patients through the prestigious Rayner Institute located in San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Her certified educational units in nursing and post-secondary vocational rehabilitation are registered with the State Board of Education in Sacramento.

She is a published author on professional skin care. She has served as an Advisory Board member to one of the most respected trade journals in the professional skin care industry, Les Nouvelle Esthétiques. She belongs to several associations related to her industry, and is very active in the State laws and regulations, relevant to her field of training. She attends professional skin conferences, including the AAD conferences for Dermatologists. All this, just to keep updated on new approaches to common and uncommon skin disorders, FDA regulations and changes in prescription drugs, laser equipment and anything else that can help her to educate her clients more. 

Jody takes pride in her product line choices that she provides for her clients homecare. She researches new ingredient developments and current formulations that are used in the United States, as well as other countries. She is very particular about the products she uses on each client during professional treatment, as well as the products The Skin Clinique carries in the spa intended for homecare use. The philosophy behind those choices is simple. We offer powerful, result oriented products that are safe and uniquely recommended for each individual.
